Abstract
This article on the relationship between bioethics and ecumenism researches the philosophical origins of the bioethical relativism, the current cultural context in which it occurs ecumenical dialogue on bioethics. The ecumenical declination of the bioethical relativism needs to know these philosophical roots so that believers of different churches can discern the truth of the value of life than the relativism. Relativism is an implicit form of atheism and the foundation of what is, in particular, in different Christological interpretations expressed by the philosophies of Kant, Hegel, and Nietzsche. Detected these cases, you can then place the relationship between bioethics and ecumenism, with a view of the principle of responsibility, which commits the value of life both believers and non-believers, as part of our pluralistic society.
